After 400 steps the view is all yours! The buildings in Gdansk are incredibleThe unusually shaped building is the Zuraw Crane. Built between 1442 and 1444 the crane hangs over the river where it was used to erect ship masts. The crane was powered by men walking inside the two large internal wheels. apparently it is still in working order! The main road of the old town. Ending with the golden gate. Napoleon himself liked the gate so much that he tried to have packed up and taken to Paris.Enter a captionThe local market near where we stayedThe ceiling of an old printing house – turned cafe.
