And just like that the bricks disappear ! Unfortunately these bricks are not in good enough nic for an art gallery so they have to be covered. They will be there behind the plasterboard should anyone change their minds.

The Kauri flooring is going down well! I love working with this stuff. The grain runs straight. This is actually Fijian Kauri which is easier to come by, compared to the native New Zealand Kauri. You save money too! $15 per meter! Worth it!

The ceiling is going up for the art gallery! This is the first of 2 layers. We are using GIB Noiseline for a bit of sound proofing between levels

Lining the walls of the art gallery, where will they hang the artwork? Anywhere they want! We are lining the entire gallery with 12mm Plywood followed by 10mm GIB plasterboard

The art gallery is lined and ready for plastering! Stay tuned for the shop front entrance and finishing carpentry 👍

I'm a Carpenter from New Zealand. I completed a Carpentry apprenticeship and decided to build something on every continent. I started this blog so I could share the journey with people!
